Free pickup: We collect the defective storage device free of charge throughout Germany via UPS Express with tracking number. Alternatively, you can drop off the storage medium in person at one of our locations in Leipzig, Hamburg or Munich.
Cleanroom diagnosis: Our team analyses the storage device in our ISO-certified cleanroom. The exact extent of damage is determined: Is it a logical defect (deleted files, formatting, virus) or physical damage (head crash, electronics failure, drop damage)?
Fixed-price quote: You receive a binding fixed-price quote - no hidden costs, no surprises. We only begin the actual data recovery once you accept the quote.

Step 2: Professional Data Recovery in the Cleanroom
State-of-the-art technology: Our specialists work in a Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom - comparable to hospital operating theatres. Here, hard drives are protected from dust particles smaller than a human hair that could irreparably damage the sensitive magnetic platters.
Individual approach: Every case of damage is unique. For logical defects, we use specialised, partially self-developed software. For mechanical damage, our technicians replace defective components such as read/write heads, spindle motors or electronics boards from our extensive spare parts inventory.

Important in case of data loss

File list: After successful recovery, you receive a detailed list of all recovered files and folders. This allows you to verify that your important data is included before payment.
Handover on your preferred medium: We copy your recovered data onto a storage medium of your choice - new external hard drive, USB stick or via encrypted download link. For sensitive data, we also offer encrypted transfer.
Secure deletion: After successful handover and your confirmation, we delete all your data from our systems according to GDPR-compliant standards. Upon request, you receive a deletion certificate.
No data - no costs
Our promise: You only pay for successful data recovery. If we cannot recover your data, the success-based fees will not be charged. This promise applies without exception to all orders.
