For physical defects (e.g. due to power surges, drops or manufacturing faults) drives are temporarily repaired in order to perform the data recovery. Continued use of the defective drive after successful recovery is not intended.

The choice of tools is always made on the basis of an individual preliminary analysis. If necessary we open the storage device in our dust-protected clean room and replace defective components. The data is then read out using partly custom-developed tools.

For laypeople it is often not obvious which mechanical or logical defect is present on the drive. Do-it-yourself recovery attempts with free tools from the internet are therefore rarely successful.

You receive the data recovered by Datenrettungsspezialist.de on a storage device of your choice (e.g. USB drive, external hard drive). Delivery via cloud storage is also possible.

You normally pay at the end in cash, by credit / debit card or bank transfer. Payment by cash on delivery is possible in individual cases.

All of our employees are specifically trained in handling sensitive data. We also strictly adhere to all data protection requirements under the GDPR and the new BDSG. Particularly confidential data is only handled by employees authorised under Ü1 security clearance according to § 8 SÜG.
